walk around my neighborhood

My pal Gord sent this link. Apparently google has scoped out our village and photographed the whole thing, and you can walk it yourself. I can see that it was approx. last October 20. If you fiddle with it, you can wander all over my little village.

Microsoft almost beat Google this time:
check maps.live.com
enter
540 main street, Freeville, NY 13068
tick "birds eye view"
and hey presto:
not Google street view, but a very impressive area view.

I live downtown: MSFT Live maps was nice enough to photograph the chairs on my balcony ;-)

I confess, I did this about a week or two ago. It was fun to roam your village! (Does that make me a stalker? I was really just planning our vacation...)

I only got down Main Street. Is that all there is, or is there more? (I know from personal experience there IS more, but does Google have more?)

MS has better aerial/satellite coverage than Google, but no street view. Google's trying to bring street view to Canada, but our federal privacy laws may make it too time consuming and expensive for them. I like aerials better, anyway. :-D

Nice pic of your lovely family! my brother once (a few years ago) emailed me from Holland, Hey, whose is the white car in front of your house? I freaked, because at the very moment there was a white car standing in front! so, then he told me his little secret of foofle maps.
