"I am very fat"

(Spike cat and Penny Beagle)
We have a traveling vet. She comes over, and it was time for Penny's yearly exam. She is in excellent health and athletically shaped, and weighed in a pound less than last year: 22 pounds, perfect.
Spike, on the other hand, who had his food cut in half six months ago when the vet put him on a diet has gained 2 pounds, and is now 21 pounds. He is quite chubby, yet quite happy, although the vet wants his food CUT again....

I think Spike and I are on the same diet!

My two cats, born to the same litter are extremely different in every way including their weight. One's like a wee runt - active and curious, and the other is a solid, hefty, lazy ole thing. They eat small, equal amounts of the exact same food.

Hey, glad the livestock is healthy. I need to cut my food portions, too. Maybe Spike and I could be diet buddies.

Awww, they are adorable, but yeah, he's a little on the chubby side. My cat, Tigger, eats when he wants, but he's a PICKY eater. Only cat food and only seafood flavored. Otherwise he gets a lot of exercise by running at full speed throughout the house, as if he's on a mission and SUDDENLY has to get to the other side of the house and back again the same manner, but for what purpose, I have yet to know!

All Spike needs is a girdle.

Or some fashion tips that give the illusion of sveltness.

Meh.

Some of us are just a little thicker than others. :)

Oh my gosh! Andy (our Maltese) is 8pounds! I knew kitty was big, but my goodness, change his name to Totie Fields! LOL

Just kidding on all this.

Hope you racked up good sales. :-)

Spike is double Cleopatra's weight, but I bet she can outrun him! ;)

I know a traveling vet, although she only has a few remaining clients (not for lack of want - just lack of time).

Spike & I share a problem. Metabolism is the enemy of age.

WOW! Spike is way fatter than Cousin Mooky, who weighs in at a mere 11 pounds! Gotta get him outside running after mice!
(My brother-in-law loved the duck pitcher!)

Get spike a young feline friend. I just got a 1 yr old 7 lb cat and she's got my 15 lber running around and losing weight since he's getting a lot more excercise. Katja loves pestering Gee to get him to play. They end up wrestling alot and chasing each other. Funny to see the little one chasing the big one, LOL.
