a little more anarcho-punk pottery

(cups by Gary Rith)
I am enjoying scratching through these painted, colored mugs plus blobbing and doodling, but man, it sure takes forever, my hands are frozen, and the cash register in my head is like "these suckers are 5 bucks MORE than the usual decorated mug". I mean, after all, you got the guy on the handle, the guy on the bottom, more guys on the sides plus various blobs and squiggles?

Hey.... it's not your birthday until TOMORROW!!! :) I love you and Maude so much, Gary. You guys are amazing. And I finally have a gift for you and one for her birthday... so they are going in the mail THIS WEEK! YAY! I'm so bad about getting to the post office, I swear. I hope you have an AWESOME birthday tomorrow! I wish I was there so I could make you a cool cake!!

Never understimate the value of a few blobs and squiggles.

Love that birthday motif at the top of the blog. It's evening the day before, so I'm going to say, "Happy Birthday" now instead of waiting till tomorrow.
