Hobgoblin beers and the crabby clam cups

SO, at the beer store I see Hobgoblin beer from England in a cute can and it isn't a 12 oz, its 16.9 baby, YES. Gotta try that thing, and my its tasty. Dark color, foamy and frothy, a terrific brownish ale. The Regular Guy beer reviewer would give it a hefty 9 out of ten thumbs up, but that whole 16.9 vs. 12 oz thing????????? TEN thumbs up out of ten, yummo!

YES, making many crabby clam cups for the expected rush to order these things. Stand back, crabby clam stuff will be popular.

Hey Gary that's funny, I know the brewery in Whitney near Oxford, I used to do deliveries around the town in a former life. I'm on the Becks tonight, gotta love those German brewers.

I'm going to have to try that beer. Sounds like something I would like.

Although all I have in my fridge right now is Hoegaarden. Which is not dark at all. ;-)

I am more of a pilsner/lager girl.

But, HEY EVERYONE: order up some cute little clams, because Gary sent me a tiny one with my mug order and they are CUTE and have googly eyes and you want a whole MESS of those clam stuff before summer comes to decorate your table and counter, etc.

I have a Hobgoblin Brewery T-shirt, the goblin's saying "What's the matter, lager-boy? Afraid you might TASTE something?"
Yep, great beer. I have in front of me a bottle of Innis and Gunn's triple matured, oak-aged beer.
I think I might just open it tonight. Cheers!

Oh... Matt, dammit, you're only a hop or two away from Hook Norton Brewery, or even not too far from Devizes, and Wadworths 6X, whatever are you doing drinking Becks?
