bidness cards

So the dogs are barking hysterically, nothing unusual, and later I head out to the post office. There is a wee little box on the door step of the door we never use and we have a sign saying just that--go to other door. No knock to deliver the package, don't even deliver to a door anybody uses. Jerks (FED EX btw)
ANYWAY, my business cards are here!
Don't they look great? I have always made business cards on the computer, but decided to get a nice photo card printed--yeow, they make me so excited! I have 1000 and I want to see how fast I can use them.

Do you remember in the BC comics when they discovered that clams have legs? Well- I am older then you- but for some reson that use to crack me up!

Off topic:

Love the elephant pottery. The bowls are real cool. I can visualize some great middle eastern food using them...

I'm reading the cookbook,
"mangos & curry leaves" by Aloford and Duguild. They have alot of photography of pottery and food.

Oh, yes! The perfect way to serve almost any Thai dish. I loooove Thai cuisine, and so much of their decor seems to be based on elephants, all dressed up and very elegant. I can't wait until our one and only Thai restaurant reopens later this month when they get back from a visit 'home'. We're all holding our breath that they WILL come back! We lost our one and only Indian (continent of) restaurant a good while back when they went back for a visit and never came back to Kokomo, not that I can really blame them, but -- Now we have to go all the way to Indy to satisfy that hunger, and unfortunately, the hunger for dim sum usually wins out over our yearning for tandoori chicken or marsala something or other or a mouth burning, sinus clearing dish of rogan josh.
