after lunch I:

Broken down kiln, but parts ordered and hopefully they will arrive like Friday and I can fix the darn thing and get it back to normal....

BUT I am as always curious about YOU. I am totally beat and need lunch NOW with espresso and will eat it then as usual walk the little beagle beastie to the PO to check the mail and then today wander off to teach classes at the Cornell University Pot Shop.

What do you usually do after lunch, nap, walk, back to work, dessert, meditate, pass gas (just joking! don't tell us THAT);

Please comment: after lunch I

After lunch I normally do more work, but today I'm having a nap. The cold that's been rampaging through the building at work finall caught up with me. :-(

Didn't you just ifx your kiln, Gary?

after lunch I go back to my desk and get back to work (i.e., check Facebook, blog reader and then do actual work)

Well, these days...

After lunch I putter around a little, read a book or surf blogs, and then about 3pm I start getting ready for my hubby to come home. I start working on dinner in a leisurely way, watching a cooking show or two on t.v., setting the table. Sometimes I drink a glass of wine during the 3pm stretch.

Oh, and Clarke thanks you for something you said right after I got laid off about remembering not to bombard the spouse right when they walk in the door. It's hard to remember that they need a little downtime when they get home from work - all I know is I'VE BEEN ALONE ALL DAY! So thanks to you I'm making an effort not to pounce. :)

Back to work, my friend... it's a soap opera around here today. Almost don't want to go to lunch today - I don't want to miss anything!

Great answers so far!
maybe when the spouse arrives home after work the one at home should be nekkid and holding a martini and a smile?

Normally back to work, or more blog surfing. Today-root canal!

After lunch, I:

if running late from errands then throw food and catch it in my mouth on my way out the door to pick up the kiddos.

if on time, I eat and then fold clothes to soaps. Or polish the house while listening to soaps.

if we have a scheduled event or practice after school, then I prepare dinner so that I can pop it all together when we finally return back home -- at dinner time.

What is this "lunch" you speak of?

Usually I am on the go and skip lunch. Then I munch later. So after "lunch" I have lunch!

Today I drove 45 minutes north of here, fighting a serious case of sleepy-eyes. Then I parked and took a 10 minute nap with the stereo blaring (the silence at the end of the songs woke me up). Then I had coffee and dressed up like a candle. The end.

"Cornell University Pot Shop"

OMG! Rush and the conservative were right. Those Ivy League schools are full of a bunch of pot smoking hippies! hahaha ;-)

After lunch I get all productive like. Unless I'm behind on blogs, then I get productive later on. LOL

Navel contemplation is my favorite post lunch activity. I really should look into office work.

I also returned to work at my desk. More of the same from the morning, but less running around and more work on the computer. Also, had a couple of laughs with one of my co-workers. Plus, we ordered in lunch today---so it was free---the best part of the whole day!!!

Oh boy, your kiln broken down - that must be a setback for you, like your computer broken - hey, i have to think about that a while, what I usually do after lunch - since I mostly even don't sit down for that- LOL

Today, I went back to glazing pots. And, I cursed out this women in my head because she was hogging the spray booth for an entire hour to do one bowl. She left the glaze in the sprayer between coats too, so she would have to unclog the gun each time she returned. >sigh< It's hard to be Minnesota nice sometimes. I bit tongue and did other things that didn't require the spray booth.

Great question! I work from home, so after lunch, I often like to take the laptop and plop myself beside the living room window for some inspiration. It helps get me in the right frame of mind for an afternoon of writing.

Hey, where are you? It's not like you to leave the blog so long. I mean, lunch and then nada? You're a multiple post a day read....

hello? Gary? Gaaaaaa-reeeeeeeey

Hmmm, I bet his tasty cake has him baking! :-)

Oooh, Gary! Thought! You need to make cupcake/muffins with a peanut butter frosting (powder sugar peanut butter and maybe some butter-butter)!

After lunch I...get on the hoist with my fellow construction workers and go right back to work until coffee break at 2pm. Usually it's not a bad routine, but today it was the worst combination: cold AND windy. We were sent home because of extreme wind one day last week. Other construction sites in the city were shut down today, but we worked all day.
