Teapot Super Bowl

(pots by Gary Rith)
I have been thinking about this for days. I am entering a teapot competition in Chicago ("bright and fun teapots encouraged!") this month and I have been rejected twice before. I think these are wicked good entries, and I have a good chance. I wanted to put something wild and dynamic out there. I need to re-photograph these.
Their prices, of course, will be tripled if they win.

"Award-winning" pottery SHOULD be more expensive. ;-)

There's no kidding around----a 50 dollar teapot becomes 150 bucks, LIKE MAGIC if it wins

Good luck in the "teapot challenge" the zebra gets my vote!
What do you win?

I win a spot in an exhibit, that's all! Maybe bragging rights too? Costs me 25 bucks to enter.

That would be a hard call. The zebra teapot is fabulous - the zebra on top is I think one of the best animals you've done. But I reaaaally like that red glaze too.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you.

word verification: peram
definition: a perm featuring a flippy ends.

I love, love, love the red one! The zebra is fantastic, too, but the doggy is just extra-special.

YAY! So nice to know a winner (oh, wait, am I counting the chickens before the eggs? Well, you know, I'm all about the positive)!

Will it Gary! This one's yours.

:-) Happy Monday!

Well, I'd say you're tied for first place - with yourself! A double winner!
