You kinda get to the other side of all these holidays and it is a bit of a relief I think. I mean, I like presents and fun, but it is almost overwhelming sometimes. Could it be I prefer quiet and boring in my daily life?

i couldn't agree with you more! i think the best day of the year is jan. 02 when the holiday season is officially over. yes, long live peace and quiet!
I'm the same way, Gary. October thru December is such a busy time in our house. Aside from the holidays, we have quite a few birthdays to celebrate and endless school functions. It's exhausting! i'm certainly glad to be getting back into a routine. ;-)
