rude gnome

(rude gnome by Gary Rith)
This is sure to get my parents' blood boiling, BUT ANYWAY, hey, you can join my new facebook group anarcho-punk potters. ANYBODY can join, and submit pictures of their cats, dogs, pottery, banana bread...you know.

I was very impressed. I wasn't expecting anybody today. We have a rotten ice storm going here, very slick, and this couple showed up to the open studio, and I won't say they cleaned me out, but they have a few lucky relatives who will find some nifty gifts in their stockings this year...

Do you have a secret desire to @#$$ off your parents, Gary???

He is a cute little Gnome. Sure to grace someone's desk - facing the bosses office! ;)

no, I don't want to piss off my family, they are perpetually pissed off at me no matter how well-behaved I am....

Does this change the rating of your blog, Gary? ;)

This little gnome cracks me up and since there is a joke with my mother perhaps wondering if she should have a garden gnome (to which the entire family was horrified...good heavens, NO!!!!!) maybe we (meaning my brothers & their wives & my dh & I) should join forces together and buy this gnome for my mother? Of course, we wouldn't want to teach the young grandsons any bad tricks now would we?

My dh says he wants to design some lions (you know the kind that guard fancy houses) and have them raising their middle fingers of one paw... the 17yo fell of his chair laughing over that one!

Okay, just showed dh the gnome and he said "Don't go telling him about my lion idea! He might steal it!"
Too late...
So, fair warning, SuperDad has verbal copyright on the guarding lions.
However, he does think your gnome is well done. ;)

Gary, how large a gnome can you make? Like, is your kiln large enough for a full-sized lawn gnome? ;-)

And seeing what the season is, how about a rude Santa-topped candy dish? It could be permanently reserved for humbugs! LOL
