Cheri's daughter has a puppy and asked if I could try to make mugs with him. To me, he looks like a brown dog with black smudges, and I think I managed to capture that much!

She found that little puppy all starved and dying on the Indian Reservation in Arizona where Courtney is a high school teacher, and rescued him.
These mugs are for Courtney and Grant for Christmas.

I don't think she's found her way to this blog post so far . . . so I'm going to put a link to it in with the mugs and ornaments so she can come and see what we cooked up for her.
