of Mooseheads and Piggy heads: a regular guy beer review

(pot by Gary Rith)
Needed to get a gift for the dogsitter so I happened upon Moosehead and hadn't tried it in awhile so I got some for the sitter and some for me!!!! You could say 'why does he need a beer from Canada, eh?' BUT I LOVE ALL things Canada, and I find courtesy of wiki that they are sort of the last Canadian owned brewery and also the oldest Canadian brewery, plus CM is from New Brunswick, so I had to try Moosehead again. (CM would pronounce it ever so sweetly as "agaaan" in her particular version of the cute Canadian accent)
It was, last time I tried it, 3 something bucks a six pack, but now twice that, and it is a quite good beer for its type of lager. Plenty of suds and foam, so I am happy, especially since it also has a fetching moose upon the label.
We'll give it a rollicking 8 of ten stars because we love Canada and moose are cute.

Excellent stuff, Moosehead.

I actually grew up in the town where it is produced, although no one there drank it. They're also the brewery that produces the Harp you get down there. It's a funny old world.

Yes, yes, a "little package" made it and it wasn't so little after all. Thank you!!

OK. Now, I have to purchase and try it. Gary gave it an 8 out of 10 thumbs review -- so, FW has to go there and partake.

It's even yummier out of a "Rith" original mug, though, eh?

"Rith Mugs" Not just with breakfast anymore. :-D

Being a good ol' Canadian kid, I find myself rather surprised to say, "I've never had Moosehead". Strange, no?

I think any beer would be improved by pouring it into a stein like that. Just sayin'.
