rather pretty sunset

I was lurking about the Cornell campus after doing some glazing at the pot shop and before meeting the missus and the sunset was HUGE. It gets dark not long after 4 these days, but on the right winter day you get your money's worth. Cornell's campus is arrayed across a very steep hillside with Ithaca's downtown and Cayuga Lake below (take my word for it!)

"rather pretty sunset" a bit of an understatement I would say. Beautiful!

Beautiful! You're lucky to have seen it in person.

Beautiful! I love sunsets! Dark shortly after 4:00 p.m.? Hmmpft. Boy, did y'all get screwed on the time change thingie.

But, now it all adds up. You all well rested and taking the perros out for a walk at like prior to 5:00 a.m. and then coffee and laundry while the Missus and the Spike are snugging.

So, all along, it's been the dark-early factor..

:-)

Happy, it's almost my favorite Day!

I think you definitely erred on the side of Understatement, Gary! That is a stunning sunset.

Now the thought of a man in his 40's lurking about campus... [shudder]
Perhaps you might choose a different word than LURKING?

well, I do work on the campus and so does the missus and a lot of other people 20-90 years old, but maybe I should say skulk?

You mean to say you don't skip and dance about while on campus? How about frolic? After all, your animal creations frolic on your pottery...
