wee little elephant mugs

(mug by Gary Rith)
Two of these cuties going on sale at my online gallery now!
I heard on the radio first thing that copies of yesterday's newspapers were already selling for 149 bucks! I had saved the cover of my NY Times, and part was in the recycling (picked up today!) and the rest still lying around on the floor where the cats were sleeping on it.
I gathered it all up and started thinking "$149=groceries?"

Suddenly, the cost of a subscription almost makes sense!

OMG! I didn't even think to get a paper until I saw the cover of yesterday's at the farm office. By then, it was too late.

And, I usually remember that stuff and put it with keep sakes about history for the kids. So, one day when we are so old they can read back on what was happening in our era (and good for school projects too).

POO.

The mug is nice though ;-) Cute, little trunk for a handle!

YAY for Thursday!

Great mug idea! Very clever.

And perhaps I'm off the mark here but the fact that someone is willing to buy a USED newspaper for $149 tells me that the US economy is very much alive and well.
