NOT Feris Buehler

(little pumpkin and her entourage)
It is my wife's misfortune to have a cold and a blogger for a husband. A husband who records every mundane fact of his life. I thought this was sooo cute, Penny and Emily cat giving comfort.
I just gave the sickly muffin pie some ginger tea, a stack of magazines, some knitting and the sewing basket and mending. There will be a movie later.

I'm sorry that Maude has a cold. You're not supposed to share those with your wife!!
It's okay to blog and post pictures like this because you are only showing her lovely hands, a neatly pulled up quilt, and well-behaved pets.
Take good care of her, Gary! More tea is in order, I think.

Awww, I'm sorry the missus is feeling ucky! It's hard to hold back on the 'sharing' thing isn't it. No smooches and stuff....too hard!
That just sucks.
You're a good care-giver-person!!! Just like my Lovee!

Aww, how sweet that they want to comfort her. Isn't it amazing how pets know when we need comforting? I hope she feels better soon!

He must be feeling sorry for you, Maude. This is an uncharacteristically restrained picture for Gary. LOL

Feel better soon.

I think I'll visit your house the next time I get sick. Why don't I get that sort of treatment from my own family?

Gordo--yes, there must have been something in my tone when I asked "You're going to blogthis aren't you?!?"

Thank you all for the good wishes. Time to turn back in.

You're a good husband to Maude. And Penny and Emily are most excellent companions, too, being so generous with their time and bodily warmth. They could both be doing other things. Penny, for instance could be downstairs barking out the window at something, and Emily could be tormenting Buster. But they are there with Maude! Please tell Mrs. Potts. I hope she feels better soon.

Heartwarming, that's what it is! Tea, toast, knitting and anything else he can think of to help you feel loved and to help get you better, and the warmth of a puppy dog and pussy cat to keep you warm and cuddled! Now THAT'S being taken care of. Good job, all! Can't think of anything more, except maybe a wee drop of the spirits to help lift hers? And, note, please. I said HERS!

Hope the Mrs. feels better soon. Make her lots of ginger lemon tea and broth! Vegetable noodle soup?
