(Christi finishing her rather fab bowls, and a wee little racoon by me)
So, Christi came over, finished the bowls, and I spent half the afternoon fiddling with this possible racoon (thank you HILLARY :). Fabfabfab.....

Awww that's adorable, Gary! I'm glad these little sweeties inspired a piece. How cool is that! And thanks kindly for the linkage to the baby raccoon post. :)

In answer to your question, sorry, but Spike wasn't named after your kitty. When my son and I departed from Lynn's place with the kits, she blew a kiss to them and said "Bye, Sugar and Spice." Once we got them to Theresa's, she asked if they were named and I told her what Lynn said. She said that Sugar was great but that Spice was too girly for the male, so she called him Spike instead.

Now you know. :)

I love those bowls she's doing... but as a beginner, I seem to get warped edges like that without trying (haha) - seriously - love them - they remind me of an artist Julie Wawirka - she throws forms, alters them, then casts them in bronze - sells them as sinks... you can google and find her I bet...

oh, know, Gary's on a whole new critter! LOL!

Those bowls are great -- they look Texas sized for mixing recipes in, but do looks deceive me?

Because some large sized mixing bowls with a 'pour spout' kinda like she did would be awesome!

Oh, in case you don't remember me -- it's me, Farmer*sWife!

I think my 37 years is about to kick in as I'm realizing I'm no longer 25! *giggle!*

Hah, beautiful, as always.

A new creature! This one looks a lot cuter than the scruffy raccoon having a snarl-off with the dog next door late last night.
