Went to Taughannock Falls yesterday (how do you spell that??) Which, although just a little creek, is higher than Niagara, and is indeed the highest falls in the northeastern US....
if you are cheap like me, you park up top for free, walk all the miles down to the lake, then all the way up to the falls, then all the way back etc....and count it as a pretty good workout, not a penny spent on parking either....
