culcha with the regular guy: back to BAND CAMP

The missus is in Manhattan visiting her two sisters today, which means I invited a bunch of Friends over this afternoon and then watched a terrible movie!
Maude's two sisters live between, in case you wondering, FAO Scwartz and the Met, about 20 blocks apart from each other. They no doubt have had a day full of high culcha, whereas at home, we have wallowed in squalor, which is typical of bachelor days.
So, many of my Cornell pottery students came over today to the studio which gave us the opportunity, pottery nerds that we are, to talk about GLAZES and CLAY and HANDLES!!! If you aren't a pottery person, you would probably find this rather dull.
And when the missus is away, I watch terrible movies, and this one took a healthy dose of bourbon: American Pie 2. Whereas American Pie was amusing, 2 is entirely without merit, an utter zero, which is exactly the kind of movie I would choose to see when the missus is gone. I give credit to whatshisname, the kid with the dark hair, for realizing he loves the red headed girl who plays the flute, but the only other entertaining moment was when Tara Reid was wearing a Cornell tee-shirt, hoooohooooo! Yeah baby!
So, the regular guy gives this movie a perfect zero out of ten, but with bourbon and a warm beagle, ten out of ten for a good time.

Yeah, sequels don't usually live up to the original.

Hey, can you get in now? The only thing I've done is added statmeter. But, FF uses it and has no trouble with anyone accessing her.

And, she has no trouble accessing me.

Anything with a warm beagle is a 10 out of 10 :)

Funny, I got left home this weekend too. With a sick dog, and stuffy nose, and a crazy five year old! L)

Was this the one with the call to 911? "Hello, 911? Um, I glued myself to . . . myself."

It WAS a bad movie. I still LMAO. When I see movies like this (and I love movies like this), I am just making up for the adolescence I missed.

I LOVED the first American Pie... but the second one WAS weak... and American Wedding (the third one) was even worse. Don't even waste your time. :o)

G'Day found you via someone else's blog comment via Sunday Scribblings. Nice blog. I like the glazes you use, what temp do you fire to. Especially like the red one is it a reduced copper glaze?

Linda NO! Cone 6 oxidation, the color comes from a pinch of tin oxide and chrome oxide.
