that four letter word:

Windy and turning much cooler with showers. Some wet snowflakes could mix in over higher elevations. Temperatures dropping to near 40 by 6 PM. Wind: WNW 15-30 mph.

OMG, Gary!! I was going to write a post entitled "The Four-Letter Word," too! (talking about s-n-o-w, of course). Great minds think alike, eh?

I heard it on the news this morning and couldn't believe it. It's only October!! But it was CHILLY outside today. And windy. Holy hang-on-to-your-hats kind of weather!

Ohhhhhh!!! I Want To See Snow!!!

Greg and I are going to N. Carolina in January for our honeymoon. We're SO hoping to see snow. We don't get that in New Orleans. Our seasons are "summer" and "summer lite."

Welcome to Utah weather!! It's supposed to snow here again this weekend (and it was 70 degrees yesterday!)... I'm kind of glad you're going to get snow so someone can feel my pain. :) I know, I'm a brat!

Snow in October? What, you moved to Alaska when I wasn't looking??
Actually, I did watch The Weather Channel at 1:30 this morning and saw that possibility. I believe it, because it is cold and windy here!!
(But I'm too stubborn to turn on the furnace yet)

I cannot recall a year when it has NOT snowed in October--which means every year we have snow in October

Wow! We'll be grilling on Halloween...even, if it's slightly cool. I don't like it cold. But, I do like snow... especially mid November through Christmas.

After that? I'll take summer, thank you. :-)

What beautiful seasons y'all have way up there! Though, when I watch the Today Show in February and March and sometimes April? And we are in the 80s? I feel for y'all way up there then. Cuz' that's a whole long time of cold!

Happy Tuesday! Catch some flakes in your mouth.

I succumbed to clicking the heat on today, here (once). It was 26 degrees outside and 59 inside, at 6 a.m. this morning. I thought it time, eh?

Never did warm up properly, outside. Some sun here and there, but mostly clouds and rain, this afternoon.

Did some cooking this afternoon, all things that would bake in the oven. Warmed it up nicely in the house.

*Cheri - I'm so sorry about all the wildfires out there.
