BEAGLE CAM around our village of Etna
I was wandering around with the camera yesterday (well, everyday actually) and had forgotten Tink's weekly photo challenge theme. OOPS! That doesn't stop me from submitting though, right?
Here in central New York Columbus Day is usually about peak week for colors, and you can see it around our little village of Etna. Penny is on the bridge over the river behind our house, in front of the post office and then down at the playground. The last pic shows what is called (I think) Mount Pleasant, which is quite sizeable, but from a beagle's eye view doesn't look too tall.
Dreamt last night, btw, of my dream hamster, and he is back in the fullness of health and his cage is clean too. My wife can't believe that I keep a pet in my dreams and visit it from time to time and take care of it, but what can you do?

Benny is impressed. Your pup is clearly giving him that "come hither" look...
Your Benny and my Penny!
It's always a good day when Penny is around in your pics!!
I love Penny! And, I love the Beagle's eye view! Especially the first pic? Where she's obviously checking something out!
Wow! Look at those beautiful yellows! Love the colors you all have up there!
Penny is just precious!
Penny has a most affectionate personality too.
She is ADORABLE. I love the pic of her on the tire!
You have a dream hamster? Bwahahaha! That's AWESOME. I want to put it in a book!
Great pictures. I love the angles and the points of interest. Just nice all the way around.
I like the tire photo, too - Penny is cute as she can be!
So cute! :)
you have a dream hamster?! you are so weird!!! but please don't ever change!!!
I dreamed about mice again last night. It was borderline nightmare. Perhaps I should get a dog in my dreamworld?
Penny makes me like Beagles.
I have a hamster that I visit in my dreams and take care of. It lives in a little cage with shavings and the usual hamster stuff. I had dreamt (and blogged) a few days ago that I had forgotten it for awhile, and I went to care for my dream hamster and he (or maybe it is a she?) had only 3 crunchies left, a couple of sips of water, and had lost a leg and had a sore over its eye. Horrible. It was doing better by the end of that dream though, and fully restored to good health last night! FOUR LEGS too!
Beagles look extraodinarily good among the fall colors.
omg Penny is just so adorable!!! Squeeeeee!!!!
Only 'you', Gary. Would have a dream hamster... ;)
Beautiful pics. Reminds me of when we were up there last year. I think the playground must be the only 'flat' piece of land in a 90 mile radius! lol
Love the photos of Penny! They do work for the words too...Penny is saying "look at ME" and "All THEM leaves are pretty", because while she can talk, her grammar isn't very good. ;)
this 'dream hampster' thing has me scratchin my grape....do you will yourself to go to the cage???or is it more of a daydream thing...seriously...I'm driving myself crazy trying to figure this thing out...lol
As I previously posted, I'm having a hard time with your occasional dream pet, as well. I mean, I love it, it's just hard to believe. However, glad that he is doing well after you almost killed him last time ; )
And, I LOVE beagle cam! Especially the one of Penny posed majestically on the tire!
Oh lord ... I had to read this one aloud at my place.
Gary, isn't it quite unusual to do that ... to dream of visiting a pet and etc? Cute though. I guess you just make your wife love you more when you tell her this stuff.
I revisit some themes when I dream, I guess the hamster is another?
I love beagel cam. I'm going to do a photo essay of my day tomorrow. I think that idea came from you too. See what a copy-cat I am?
