le elephant pot

(pottery by Gary Rith)
So I was making this little covered pot then wanted to top it with an elephant, and this elephant is rather HUGE on this little pot, which is amusing I think.
My neighbor HP suggests this song, 'Ain't no sunshine...', and dang, isn't she right? Its wintry out there!

Tha elephant looks like he is happily holding down that pot lid!

COLD here last couple days too, but fortunately all the snow we've been getting hasn't amounted to all that much---just blowing around a lot. I hope you didn't get too much either!

HURRY UP SPRING!!!!

I think the elephants are your best - the ears are so pretty.

Yech - sounds like a yucky day. I think you should take the day off tomorrow and snuggle with Missus Tastycakes.

One of my favorite songs. Have you heard Eva Cassidy's version?

Hehe it IS a big elephant, but there's something to be said about it being the right size. Too Cute!

This song is one of my favorites from an old Texas radio station (KFAN, San Antonio & the Hill Country...now defunct, but awesome back in 1990)

I'm glad everyone liked it. My husband and I lived apart for 4 years, and he used to sing it to me on the phone. (he wouldn't be caught dead doing it now, but it was sweet when were were 19. :)
