Penny and Buster do lunch

My wife was quoting the author Erik Larson for me:
"My three daughters showed me what really matters. My dog showed me that nothing matters but dinner."

Penny and Buster wanted to share this with you folks who are not lucky enough to have a dog.

Wow, they are slow! You should see murphy, he is like woody woodpecker eating up a pile of birdseed. Ha!

Our dogs have to check each other's bowls out after they've emptied their own.

What a wonderfully refreshing sight, Penny scarfing her meal accompanied by the tink, tink, tink of her collar. Amazing how fast both dogs and cats can make it disappear. And, yes, then they go check any other bowls to see if just maybe a little something might also be there to be snatched. And, Surely, that's a Gary Rith bowl she's eating out of? Momma Kitty has one, too, enjoyed by both of us, she for the contents and me for the beauty. Works fine -- for both of us!
And, I notice now they've got us cussing to be able to leave a comment? I had to read/write "yedamit" today!

Utter speed-demons compared to Sharkey. :-) He has this weird need to dump some of his food on the floor and eat it that way. In the process, he chases the bowl all over the place ... LOL

Two or more dogs in a household that are fed like this always vacuum up their share. Once I had 9 Dobermans in the house that inhaled their food because they were always concerned another would want it. This is the perfect way to eliminate "picky" eaters.

Yeah, but I hate to think of the feed and/or vet bills with that many dobys!

Why is it that dogs always eat like either they haven't eaten in days or like it's their last meal before they make break for it?

My MIL has to separate the mini dachshunds and Abby even has to have her food sprinkled in a trail to follow or she'll choke herself! LOL!
