stink stank STUNK

So my Little Poptart comes home with the Grinch, a fabulous Christmas story that when you think about it, was written and illustrated by a Jew. When I was little, the original story had come out in a women's magazine which my mother saved and read to us on Dec 24th, and of course the animated program came later.
The Grinch is pretty rotten of course, but you especially wish he was nicer to his dog Max.
My Little Poptart also managed to put my family's old home movies from the 1960s onto a dvd and you KNOW I wanna figure out how to put movies of when I was 3 on here....

My favorite Christmas-related story is T Santaland Diaries, by David Sedaris. He has a collection entitled, "Holidays on Ice" which I highly recommend.

Did you know that Thurl Ravenstock, the one who sings "You're a mean one Mister Grinch" is also the voice of Tony the Tiger?

My dog Max is named in honor of that very dog.

ANY animated movie narrated by Boris Karloff is an automatic classic.

Greg and I saw this on TV just a few days ago. Greg has a dog, Pebbles and when it comes to the Grinch being mean to Max, Greg cringed and said, "This part always upset me!"

Welll, I don't know exactly how old you were in what seemed to me to be a school photo of you at a very little boy age, but that was so adorable, I missed it sorely when you replaced it. Ergo, I'll bet the videos are also of one heck of an adorable little boy who managed to grow up into a very attractive and talented man!

Being rotten to Max is exactly how the writer shows us how rotten & evil the Grinch really is! I love how Max is loyal anyway, because of course that is how dogs are.
