Woke up with the alarm and sang this to my little Pound Cake. Therefore, it has been stuck in my head all day--totally sweet song, these guys could belt it out couldn't they? This particular performance, to give a little perspective, came out the week I was born----and I am OLD.

I love the Mamas & The Papas. My mom used to play them all the time so I associate them with childhood and something about Mama Cass chocking on a chicken bone.

I was in 9th grade when this song came out, Gary, and I'm not old... ;)
Mama Cass didn't choke on a chicken bone - the rumor was a ham sandwich. But neither is true. She died of a heart attack.
I wish someone would sing me awake! Now I have this song stuck in my head too.
It has replaced a Simon and Garfunkle that has been there for days...
This is a good song to have stuck in your head.
I'm with Lynda in loving this song, so we are both older than you. And I don't consider myself old, yet!
