NOT CSI: TMI????

Ever been on a road trip and you have waited a little too long to pull into a rest stop? Or been too lazy at midnight to trip over the cat and go to the john?
Some people, yes, men too! Are susceptible to UTIs. You may think vigorous male-female relations are either the cause...or the cure, but in that you would not be correct.
For me, Monday had its ups and downs. The pain in my (not azz!) was somewhat excruciating at times, as you may know if you have had a UTI.
Today, however, is a new day, and I am feeling most relieved and healthful, thanks for asking....

Oh poor you.. ditto on the Cranberry juice.. and lots of garlic. (for both of you so you don't knock Maude over with your breath) ;)

Yup - cranberry juice, cherry juice (from the health food store)- it's all good.

The garlic idea is a good one, haven't heard it used for UTI's, but I can see where it would be useful!

Hope you feel better. Goodness the missus will have to cut off all beverages at around 7pm and make sure you get up when you have to go, put a bell around your ankle to warn the cat.

Ahh. That sucks. Glad you're feeling better, soldier.
You're right it seems some people are just more susceptible to getting UTI's. I hope your urination remains pain free!

I always remember Tom Hanks in "The Green Mile" when he had a severe case of UTI I think. He made it look like the worse thing in the world.

yes, I too was going to recommend cranberry juice.

Has anyone recommended cranberry juice yet? Yeah, lots of that and maybe some water.

Oh, and stay away from spicy foods and caffeine for a bit too. They make the situation worse.

Or so I've heard. ;-)

It's not TMI. Tis a common problem. It's like saying that discussing allergies is TMI.

i've tried them all .......
my doctor sympathetically shakes her head as she writes the Rx, and says, 'Honey, it's just a sign of aging.'
