Christi, Benji and the curry

(Christi and Martha the chicken, my missus, the cats Nebraska and Turtle and Benji)
So Christi is like "you have GOT to come over for curry and spring rolls" and we are like "you KNOW we do!"
Christi is a full-time painter and scientific illustrator (she's the one who did the water buffalo for that farming pamphlet for the gov't of Tanzania, I SWEAR I am not making this up) and she is also a farmer and friend and landlord and lately, my student in pottery. If you are wondering how the west was won or who built the pyramids, it is people like Christi--she has got her act TOGETHER. Valedictorian of her high school and something cum laude in college, in case you were wondering.
And then, of course, you have Ben. Ben is a well known painter and man of mystery and charm.
So Christi brews up the sticky rice and makes the spring rolls and curry and its all rather a big and wonderful night, and on a Tuesday!

Thanks Gary! It was fun to hang out with y'all. I posted the curry recipe on my blog. You think I'm a farmer too?

Ya know - why is it that Christi is always eating. She eats at your place - you eat at her place...

Us??? We didn't get a cookie when we came up to visit. ;)

She's got a nice place there, eh? I'd love to have some chickens and have a place like that!
