Corning Museum of Glass, finally, chapter 1

(me, the missus, some lunch, some glass)
Sure am getting a lot of mileage out of one museum visit, eh? Chapter 2 later today after I finish glazing these pots (YES, working very early on a Sunday morn)
So with the Snooty Pig in Corning closed we went to the bar across from there Friday and twas very good, Gaffers, then finally to the museum of glass in Corning. Oh what a treat! As a potter I always look at glass and think "the bright colors and wild shapes! Why should the glass people have all the fun????". I am very inspired by glass work.
This huge glass table, boat, cherubs and the rest is about 100 years old and is both AWFUL and WONDERFUL at the same time---nekkid cherubs!, and then there is the acrobats, exquisite new work.....
