Blogging for dummies, chapter 4: Nothing to blog about because you're sick in bed with a beagle on your chest? Blog it anyway! I SWEAR that tomorrow I am going to down 50 gallons of coffee and be your usual cheerful and irreverent potter :)

Hummm - let's see. Someone recommended a couple of teaspoons (or more) of apple cider vinegar and honey in a glass of water, every day. I can't remember who that was, but you might give it a try and see how it works... ;)
Take a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar in an 8 oz glass of water with a bit of honey. It will make you feel alot better and help rid the bacteria in your system. You should be having this every morning before breakfast so you wouldn't be in bed with a cold. I love this tonic because it keeps me mentally alert while killing any bacteria in my system that might make me sick. I haven't had any colds or flus since March this year. I sneezed a bit last week and took an extra dose: no more sneezing. Try it: at least it's natural with no chemicals.
A friend called me today begging for honey. She's got a terrible cold and sore throat and the only thing that's helping is the honey that I gave her in the spring. She's used it up. :-)
Raw honey. That mass-produced, blended and bottled honey-flavoured sugar syrup is useless.
Penny!! How have I gone this long without seeing your face? I'm not ignoring you Gary Rith--I was just taken by Penny. I am a Beagles Rule the Earth person so..you know. Found you on Bossy and love your blog.
I hope that you keep that header in place for a long time, and then when you decide to change it, you'll keep that photo on your sidebar forever. It's classic!
I hope you feel better real soon. Take care of him, Penny! :)

I meant to add that Penny's eyes in the header photo reminded me of Wil E Coyote's eyes when he caught sight of the Roadrunner.

'sick in bed with a beagle on your chest' is not nothing to blog about. It's the opening line to a modern day blues tune!
Elderberry syrup is supposed to be the bees knees. Maybe I will go take a tablespoonful, just in case...
(don't fret, Gordo, it's from a local winery)
PS: I agree with Hilary!
We-e-e-e-llll, I woke up this mornin',
Got the beagle on my chest,
Yeah, I woke up this mornin',
Got the beagle on my chest,
Feeling sick and whimpering,
But that beagle's on my chest,
Aint no time for moping,
When the beagle licks your face...
And seventeen more verses, slow slide-guitar, and chest-wracking coughs.
