It was like Cheers. Except without Norm.

(Stevo, Gary, Leslie, Carol)
And with Carl filling in as Cliffie.
You know how it is, you spend the day MAKING pots and then PAINTING elephants onto pots, then its over to the Cornell pot shop where some of my students are mucking about (they call themselves the Potterysluts----sometimes the Potteryhos) and then suddenly, the pots are made, the wheels cleaned and SURPRISE! Time for happy hour at my favorite bar, the Chapterhouse, and the popcorn is ready to go and me and the Potterysluts settle in by the demon lamp and the afternoon is PERFECT and the maples out front PERFECT and then I happen to be ordering up at the bar and STEVO wanders in and he is my best pal and he gets the good beer and more popcorn and we are all gossiping about YOU and then CARL wanders in with some of his drawings and he is heading out to Seattle this week in search of some west coast mushrooms and then before you know it my wife joins us, and then there is more free popcorn and, well, you know how it is.....

I can only WISH I knew how it is... free popcorn, beautiful fall colors outside of the window, and good friends & beer!
You do indeed live a charmed life, Gary. :)
