the wife has this bad cold so I wrote a haiku

(mugs by Gary Rith)

Triple haiku, actually. Not bad for 5 something am, eh?

Wife sick with chest cold
Miserable cough all night
Runny nose all day

Spicy curry soup
Hot as hell on sinuses
Opens passages

Saintly husband treats
Missus like royal princess,
Every single day.

Queen, YOU'RE MY BEST FRIEND here and below in a slightly absurd live version

Don't forget to wear your mask. Don't want you getting sick! Tell the missus I hope she feels better today.

OMG I have to get a gnome mug! Tell the wifey to get a humidifier...the kind by Vicks where you can put the stuff in it. Mine is the warm mist...best thing I've ever owned, well except for my ceramic piggy bank of course!

Are you sure treating her like a princess is enough? Shouldn't you be treating her like the QUEEN? (That said, to Mrs. Pottsblog: I do hope you feel better soon.)
