fall at Cornell.....

Went down to 22 degrees overnight. YES, I needed my scarf, gloves and Felix hat this morning!
I had to go to the Cornell pot shop this am and meet up with my faboo students and gossip and make stuff, and I parked by the suspension bridge over Fall Creek. Which happens to be the same creek you see behind my house in the post below. Gorgeous colors in the gorge on campus eh?

That is one hell of a nice hat. Too bad fall is my work-worky time, otherwise I'd plan to come visit you next fall. Do the leaves change purty any other time of the year like fall? :)

Be careful, it's a long ways down!

I *love* this time of year here. We're lucky, huh?!

Your leaves are gorgeous, Gary! Most of ours blew off with the wind storm last week, so we don't have too much color. Most of the colorful trees are already bare AND we're 3 hours below you!

Actually, it looks like the middle of November, here. Needless to say, the frost killed off everything else last night and the night before. *sigh*.

Thanks for taking all the beautiful photos! Beautiful.

The good thing about it getting cold is the end of allergy season.
Oh and I have a cute hat my sister gave me.

Beautiful shots of that area of campus! I remember it well from my childhood.
