Rithkins (???)

Another one of my pals from LOOOOONG ago, middle school and high school, has resurfaced on facebook, and she is wonderful just like my pals Wendy and Mary Beth (I guess I hung out with a lot of girls when I was a kid, not girlfriends, just girls who were friends---all of them beautiful and smart---and I suppose if you looked at my bloggy pals, you would see it is still true). Sarah reminds me that I had a nickname, origins unclear, perhaps from Mary Beth: Rithkins.

So my little Turtledove says to me this morning:

"Hey, you got the TP just right!" I suppose I had a 50/50 chance...

and

"W goes to the doctor who tells him he has a right brain and a left brain. 'But wait!' W says, 'everybody has a left brain and a right brain!' to which the doctor replies
'but in your case, in the left brain there's nothing right, and in your right brain, there's nothing left'"

Oh yeah, I think Rithkins is a perfect name for your pottery creatures - especially the gnomes!

An extremely large number of smart and pretty girls visit this blog. All of them! Gord and Denis don't count.

Did you see "Baseball Mom" has a sales window up for you at her place? Did I start that? :-)

Happy Sales! (Where are the Santa's? Santa dogs? Santa ducks? Santa pigs? Santa-something?)

;-D

I looved the joke! My daughter-in-law and I had a silent contest of wills switching the way the i.p. rolled off. She was the underhanded type and I voted for over the top, and we used to make it a point to switch it in each other's houses. Try it sometime! Great fun.

Hey, I want a "sales window!" How do I get one of those? I wanted a link for Lis, too, for Root & Sprout, but I can't figure out how to make them...
