that poor hamster

Dreamt all night, I really did, about my dream hamster. This time it had a mouse companion. It was a difficult and horrible dream, because I had been away and I got back and they were very hungry and thirsty. I hate the very idea, even in a dream, that animals would suffer because I neglected them.
I suppose the dream lesson is, as always, do your best and put others first and take care of your responsibilities.

I am giving a pint, more or less, of my O negative today. That is my Secret Santa thing: my blood given to an accident victim.

I've had a bad dream like that (not about mice and hamsters, though).

Good for you for giving blood!

hmm, I wish that you didn't have hamster nightmares. :(

What a great gesture, giving your blood.

I had a dream that Hoop was royalty and that I kept trying to flirt with him but his bodyguards wouldn't let me near him.

I get a standing "O" vation because I'm so "positive."

But, I have a hard time giving any of it up.

Good for you! Secret Santa!

Oh, and in that picture of Penny? Is she doing what I think she's doing?

That's inspiring. Reminds me to make time for it as well. Thanks!

I remember long ago when one of my neighbors needed O+ blood, tramping all over the neighborhood ringing doorbells and knocking trying to help find any possible donors. Not a soul, or, at least, none who knew or would admit to having it. A shame. Turned out all right but I was really worried. Least I could do, since my own was so dreadfully ordinary.

Be positive.. that's my blood type.. B+. ;) Good for you for donating. They used to send me away from blood donor clinics because my blood ran so slowly, it took forever to fill a pint. But since having kids, it's just a bit slower than most.

My worst dreams ever all happened when I was pregnant with my first. In one of them, I had neglected my child to the point of hunger and soaking wet diapers. I always feared that I wouldn't be a good enough mother, and that always showed in my nightmares. It turns out I did alright.. so far. :)
