she's gone baby gone...

(pots by Gary Rith)
Milady flies off this am to see her mother and aunt in Cincinatti. The aunt lives there, her mother lives in Kansas City. I am a bachelor for a few days. Likely there will be PLENTY of blog posts. Obviously, as a guy who works for himself at home I am used to being alone, but she will be terribly missed. She hasn't left yet and already I miss her.
On the other hand, of course, I am busy, as you see from these pics, plus of course, I can watch Caddyshack 3 or 4 times, and music videos until my brain explodes, stay up past midnight reading mysteries, and then there is the odd phenomenon of well-wishers who don't want me to be lonely (I won't be). I have at least one party a day and invitation while she is gone, so socially, I shall be more busy than usual.

Look at you go! That's about what I did yesterday on my 'sick day'... which was really a 'catch up' day. All that pottering should keep you out of trouble whilst your wifey is gone. :)

Why do neighbors always take care of a left-alone husband, but don't offer to cook for a left-alone wife? Hummm. Hope you have lots of fun.

i know some people that are in couples who would love it if their spouses would left for at least a month. it is wonderful you already miss her and she's not even gone yet.

I'm glad you have stuff to do and enjoy while your Wifester is out of town. I miss my Wifester while she's just gone to work, I can't imagine having to be apart for that long. But hey, at least your productivity will probably tripple and then you'll have all the more wonderful goodies to sell :) (hugs) She'll be home before you know it!

So I guess it will also be take out for dinner each night. Just stand over the sink and eat dinner and when you're done throw the container it came in away. The kitchen stays clean that way too. ;-)
