Like I said, people came over Sunday and I baked up a storm--thank GOD, baking I can do, gardening and plumbing I cannot--and you know, you don't go wrong with raspberry cake and pizza.
OK, June 1???? My favorite??? Even though temps this am are in the 30s, and barring an asteroid strike, we have 3 guarenteed gorgeous months from now til September one.

Do you mean 30 degree Fahrenheit? Or are we talking Celsius? It's about 8 degrees Celsius up here (near Ottawa). It's going up to a balmy 14 degrees, brrrr.
One of our favorite meals is mashed potatos (real real mashed potatoes), tossed salad and a german hot dog with lotsa mustard. We call it "Diner" night and serve it up on old 1950's plates we got at a yard sale.
