Benny and Joon

Have ya seen it? Johnny Depp, Aidan Quinn, Julianne Moore and Mary Stuart Masterson?
Give it an A, A+, sweet and romantic with a loaded cast, how did I miss Benny and Joon first time around, in 1993?

I was a big fan when it first came out. Ahh crazies. Gotta love 'em.

Wasn't this the movie that made famous that "I will walk 500 miles" song? I like the Me First and the Gimme Gimme's cover better but the original was good as well.

I haven't seen it yet, but I know why: 2 kids in diapers, 1 of 'em with bad food allergies. We didn't go out on dates during those years.

I'll have to put it on my list of "must-see" films.

OMG.. you just saw this for the first time? I remember watching this over and over and over again. I was obsessed with Johnny Depp and he was just so likeable in this movie. A++ from me too.

Benny and Joon is definitely up there, along with "What's eating gilbert grape". Johnny Depp is awesome. He was just in Puerto Rico filming "the Rum Diaries". Can't believe he forgot to visit us!!! ;-)

Do you know, as much as I love Johnny Depp, that I've never seen this one? Hmmm...put on the list for recuperation time!

"You're out of your tree."
and
"Having a Boo Radley moment are we?"
and
"Piltz? The answer's in the question."

You have very good taste in movies, Mr. Rith.
