shut up and let me go....

(mugs by Gary Rith)
....is a rather fantastic video by The Ting Tings.....
OK, forget that for a moment, and forget these groovy mugs.....catch this:
September first, and my southern friends and California friends will not believe me but its true, the house is so cold we are tempted to turn the heat on.

Yesterday was chilly first thing and so I wore my new jacket (YESSSS....), and although it will be 70s later, now it is maybe 48 outside. And the windows are all open. So you see.....
(we will try to wait till closer to mid-October before using the heat, actually, but dang!)

Holy Cold-ville, BatMan!!! No thank you. I'll stick with my 90s in fall...and, I'll keep my triple digit heat index too.

You can keep your cold. :-D After all, you have the shnazzy leather jacket! :-DD

What?! Jackets and cold weather? I would trade my right toe for jackets and cold weather. It is an ingrown toe though so I'd pretty much trade it for anything these days.

I drove to Miami and back today. My car told me it was 100 degrees. It felt like a 110!

Ha! We were freezing here, too... left the windows open all night and in the morning, it was 62 degrees inside... AND the vent system was pulling in MORE cold air from outside. I LOVED it!! The kids, however, did not. H-J played computer games with his comforter wrapped around him. (I might have suggested he was a wimp.)

With those kind of temps, it's time to fire up the kiln! :)
