One of my heros died, Patrick Swayze. He wasn't perfect, but despite the snake pit of Hollywood he was with his wife since they were teens. The dude made some great movies, and he knew how to DANCE, and he was totally kind hearted and charming.
And besides, he and Demi introduced SEXY to pottery....

I was a fan of Patrick Swayze, too. He showed how a man can be both masculine and graceful.
I love that he and his wife made their marriage work. That is beautiful. I am praying for his loved ones loss today. So sad.

Until I read his obit, I didn't know that he was with the Joffrey Ballet. Wow.
A real class act and a trooper, too: he told Barbara Walters that he'd lay on the bathroom in agony between his scenes on The Beast (TV show he was just doing) and kept it from everyone.
I also love Patrick, but I can see your point of view on the pottery thing too.
He was a talented actor, but what really impresses me is their marriage. His death saddens me.
Goodbye Patrick - we'll miss you.
I always liked him. He had a certain something.
