MMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmmonday

This kind of Monday. Its quiet. Except for the Kills in my headphones (see below).
OK, you know how it is, new neighbors Terry Anne and Chris over there across the street, so I say to them "beers at our place Sunday?" and before they get back to me I have invited everybody else around to come over, have the beer and meet the new folks. There are 2 houses on our side of the street and 3 across the way, and turns out we had like 8 people on our back deck, maybe 9, last evening. Except for the honored guests, Terry Anne and Chris (the reason for this wee get together) who were doing something with some winery's harvest. So they come over today at 5. As will maybe all the other people. We don't have a bar on our street, maybe this is the place? YOU are welcome to stop in too :)
OK, this stuff here, glazed in a reddish color with zebra stripes? Going into the kiln now. Tomorrow they shall be shiny black with blue stripes :) And all the way down? The Kills. That tune gets a lot of airplay on the radio here, but the video is a wee bit disturbing: the two bandmates are beating on each other....you were warned....

2 parties in 2 days? sounds perfect to me.
That video? yep you were right, very disturbing.
Can't wait to see how those zebra stripes come out!

Okay, I'm on my way over. Make sure the beer is cold. Want me to pick up something on the way? Chips? Cheese dip? Anything? ;-)

I'll bring homemade pizza and beef dip! I'll take a dark beer (or three). Hey, did y'all ever get any Shiner Bock up there?

It always amazes me how the glazes change in the kiln....

Sorry I missed it, but next time I'll bring spinach dip and stuffed peperoncini's!

Sounds wonderful on your deck. BTW - I like Maudes sandals and the other lady's comfy looking ones, too!
