the horse's azz...

My barber/artist/gallery owner Ellie is moving. Some say she is 80. She made me feel pretty.
It is well known by readers here that she cut my hair plus painted pictures. She rented a hall to sell as many as possible before moving to Maine with her adult kids. Good for her, depressing for me--will I ever be pretty again?
We went over there. This horse painting is one of a series and I just LOVED this one and was ready to fight for it. I would be getting my locks trimmed and gossiping and loving this pic, and now it's mine....the lady of the house got the landscape, which is a scene on a farm down the road.....
(I know, the horse's azz is my nickname for it, but it is totally bold and colorful and beautiful, isn't it?)

I'm with you, Gary. I'd have the 'I wants' for that horse's azz painting too. It's a beaut! So very vibrant and full of contained energy. While the farm scene is so lovely and peaceful and quiet. Excellent work! Wouldn't mind having both, but for different reasons. She's good! I know you miss her for many reasons.
