(Gary Rith and 2 bowls)
You've been wondering how I do it: make grooves and twists on a bowl but it doesn't collapse? You're kinda pushing the wet clay, like walking on thin ice or skydiving...
anyway. You push it, and it looks cool. Check out the movie.

Good video, Gary! (Of course)
More vids! Excellent pot Gary, what a treat to see it being made, nice one :)
I like the idea of the wet clay being like walking on ice! Cool!
Groovy indeed. And love the cat pic on the masthead today.
SnakeMaster is looking forward to making a bowl in your studio!
"Controlled chaos" that is how I've always pictured you, Gary (it's a good thing!) Very clear video instruction - thanks for sharing how to make that groovy twisty bowl:)
That was a good one. I'm slowly letting down my perfection walls and abusing my clay a little more each time. Oh, btw, I also use the word 'crapola'... mine is usually like "Oh, crapola, my pot exploded". :)
