is it really Monday?

(doggie sugar bowl by Gary Rith)
I went looking for doggy jokes and I found this floating around on the web. Hogs and kisses for Monday!

How Many Dogs Does It Take to Change A Light Bulb?
Golden Retriever: The sun is shining, the day is young, we've got our whole lives ahead of us, and you're inside worrying about a stupid burned out bulb?
Border Collie: Just one. And then I'll replace any wiring that's not up to code.
Dachshund: You know I can't reach that stupid lamp!
Rottweiler: Make me.
Boxer: Who cares? I can still play with my squeaky toys in the dark.
Lab: Oh, me, me!!!!! Pleeeeeeeeeze let me change the light bulb! Can I? Can I? Huh? Huh? Huh? Can I? Pleeeeeeeeeze, please, please, please!
German Shepherd: I'll change it as soon as I've led these people from the dark, check to make sure I haven't missed any, and make just one more perimeter patrol to see that no one has tried to take advantage of the situation.
Jack Russell Terrier: I'll just pop it in while I'm bouncing off the walls and furniture.
Old English Sheep Dog: Light bulb? I'm sorry, but I don't see a light bulb?
Cocker Spaniel: Why change it? I can still pee on the carpet in the dark.
Chihuahua: Yo quiero Taco Bulb.
Pointer: I see it, there it is, there it is, right there ...
Greyhound: It isn't moving. Who cares?
Australian Shepherd: First, I'll put all the light bulbs in a little circle ...
Poodle: I'll just blow in the Border Collie's ear and he'll do it. By the time he finishes rewiring the house, my nails will be dry.
The Cat's Answer:

"Dogs do not change light bulbs. People change light bulbs. So, the real question is: How long will it be before I can expect some light, some dinner, and a massage?"

ALL OF WHICH PROVES, ONCE AGAIN, THAT WHILE DOGS HAVE MASTERS, CATS HAVE STAFF.

You will notice that nobody even BOTHERED to ask a beagle. She was asleep on the bed. But if she had been awake, she would have cutely wagged her tail, rolled onto her back for a belly rub and asked for dinner.

Bwahahahahaha!

Yep, it's Monday. And my mother is here for another 24 hours. Yet another reason we know it is Monday.

Now I've gotta sign off before I am discovered by her on the interwebs and can never blog again, because I would NEVER hear the end of it. Good grief!
Tuesday, PLEASE come soon!

A police dog responds to an ad for work with the FBI. "Well," says the personnel director, "you'll have to meet some strict requirements. First, you must type at least 60 words per minute."
Sitting down at the typewriter, the dog types out 80 words per minute.
"Also," says the director, "you must pass a physical and complete the obstacle course." This perfect dog specimen finishes the course in record time.

"There's one last requirement," the director continues; "you must be bilingual."
With confidence, the dog looks up at him and says, "Meow!"

That's excellent, Gary. I can clearly see Sharkey and a couple of border collies I know in there. :-)

Heehee... that was a good joke. My dog would say "I can still eat in the dark, so who cares?"

I like Adam and Eve - very nice. I can't wait to see what they look like glazed.

A friend of mine owned a Doberman who liked to eat cats.

All in all, Gary, you have the breeds of dogs and cats, in general, characters down pat!

Tuesdays have challenges, but THIS particular Tuesday has peace and quiet and blogging.
I have a 48-hour limit with the woman, and that 48 hours was up on Sunday afternoon. Just sayin'.

My beloved MIL & FIL arrive next Monday. I'm always sad when they leave.
