BIG pots

(Gary Rith making a big pot-pics by Maude Rith)
My pal Doug Fitch was making somw big jugs in England, and my Monday class asked if we could try to make BIG pots, so I am messing around a bit this morning, when I should be ________.
The question here, of course, is make it into a pitcher (jug) or leave it as a large vase?

Pitcher! Jug! Okay, well everyone else said vase. So, keep that beauty a vase.

Make the next one a beer pitcher!!!! With a nice "pulled" handle. "Pulled" are the handles kinda' like on the cups for that cute, green, piggie tea set? Right?

;-D

I, of course, came to the same conclusion as you smart people--it shall be a vase, but now I need to make some gigantic pitchers. I hope some of you visit Doug's page, because holy cats, his work is cool.

Large vase. I never can find a good large vase for flowers...Large Vase!

Vase, definitely. As a jug, once full of liquid, it would be too heavy to lift and pour (at least for me) and I love things that are USEFUL as well as beautiful. A large vase is always a good thing to have. Mine got broken, and I miss it.

is it vace or vauze?? phonetically speaking...I'm never quite sure. :)
How about 2 handles and call it a grecian urn??? lol
Vace is cool.:)

if it is a vauze, then it costs 50 percent more!

Hmmm..."when I should be ______." Maybe making a peanut butter sandwich? LOL

Too late to vote, but of course I agree with everyone else here. Chatty gave a good reason for it.

Has anyone ever told you that you're cuter than Demi Moore in Ghost when you're at your potter's wheel?

Did I make you blush? Hee hee!

Lovely big jug Gary. You can use it as a giant sake carafe.
