this way and that

SO, kinda thinking about, you know, textures and bands and patterns, and this teapot got them going several ways at once, esp. the spout.....

I take it that spout's only little and wrinkled like that in cold weather?
"THWACK!" (that was the sound of my better behaved self giving me a smack across the head for irreverent misbehaviour)
