Sometimes in the morning I sing my wife a little song:
Today, what should I wear?
How should I part my hair,
Which pair of pants,
Which shirt,
What kind of underwear?
You have to pronounce the "ar" or "ir" with that sort of northern New England thing where "ar" is said with a sharp "ah" instead. Pair kinda sounds like "payah" and then "undawheyah" when I am putting on the accent...
OH, and today? Felix the Cat tee....
Ah, my morning smile provided by Gary Rith himself! You and the missus are such a happy little crew!
ReplyDeleteI had a boyfriend who would wear a tee one day right side out- next day inside out- that way when he took it off it would come out of the wash right side out- needless to say I did not see this one as marrying material!
ReplyDeleteIt must be nice having your own stylist!
ReplyDeleteShe's a keepah!
ReplyDeleteChow-dah! Say chow-dah!
ReplyDeletethe eye squint is the secret i think with a sideways sip on the cup of joe... you're practically the marlboro man
ReplyDeleteOkay... I had the weirdest dream about you guys last night!! Well, it was actually about Spike.
ReplyDeleteI dreamed you sent Spike in a carrier on a plane to visit me (to cheer me up). And while he was here he died!! AAH! I had to call you and tell you and it was just horrific.
So... the moral of the story is DON'T SEND SPIKE TO ME!! :)
You are really VERY talented Gary : ). You can make pots and make up songs. WOWZERS : )
ReplyDeleteI dont bother to sing I just ask her to pick something. Really it is jut easier that way, then I also dont get the "look" and the subtle clues that I never pick up on that what I am wearing may not be appropriate. :)
ReplyDeleteMy singing is reserved to changing the words to her favorite songs.
That's an ingenious use of PS! I can hear you sing to your wife LOL
ReplyDeleteBytheway, I'm experiencing difficulties with Internet Explorer (I think that's where the problem lies) - now I'm on Firefox - so far so good, but it's running slow,
but If I don't hear from me for a while, it's 'cause i'm trying to fix the problem!
Hahahaha!
ReplyDeleteI really like the post secret genre of your posts: it's playful, and playful = a good thing.
ReplyDeleteSo thea-ir!
Your pronunciation is messing with my brain...
