When Jessica Rabbit is asked, in the movie, why she loves Roger, she says "because he makes me laugh". Last night I was making some sort of joke that had to do with a tallywhacker and a tofu pup and the missus squealed "you make me laugh so hard!". Believe me, I enjoy being the Roger to her Jessica.
It is, however, a two way street. I am at the counter pouring the coffee, bejamming the toast, slopping out the porridge and the missus steps up to help. I pass over the 2 coffees and say "come back for more" AND
I am suddenly grabbed from behind in a fulsome manner and she says "I've come back for more!".
Y'all are so great together! I just love it. The love, the romance, the flirting....so great.

ReplyDeletea recent study said passion usually starts to fade by the 15th month but in 10% of long-term couples that passion never fades (by scanning brains when shown photos of their partners). i think you are definitely one of those 10%.
