I was realizing tis exactly midsummer and the flowers around the house are looking quite good, esp. the hostas in front, a nice purply color matching the house.....
I love that your house is purple. When we started looking at colors to paint the dome, I suggested periwinkle, and Brian didn't go for that. Humph. I think it's pretty. :)
Those are my favtorite hostas! Much better than the 'green only' variety.
Your hostas! I never realized that they bloom so abundantly pretty. Here they almost always only have leaves and only one or two flowers. So if they'd grow like this here too I'd think about planting them too! :-)

ReplyDeleteAwe, well starting with "plants" already can help that thumb get GREEN! Looks Fab!
ReplyDeleteThe flowers do look amazing...they must be attracted to the lovely color of your home!! So cute.
ReplyDeleteThe flowers look great, we are new to gardening and flowers, there is so much to learn! The hosta's go perfectly with your house.
ReplyDeleteI love that the flamingos haven't been liberated...yet.
ReplyDeleteI'll send some of the deer up your way - that outta take care of those nice hosta's of yours! Mine are all eaten down to little nubs!
ReplyDeletePicture perfect! Looks like it's right out of a great kids' book or a cool dream. Love the color.
