So we're at Tar-jay and getting the pencils and the Crest, and I come across this folder with a puppy and notepad with a monkey and
"oh my! So cute, but what would I do with them?"
"your business could buy them for you" sez the missus
"for....what?"
"to get organized!" she sez helpfully
and I am like
"right on!" thinking (what is this organizing thing anyway???)
and we are walking out and she is like
"look, the note pad has pink wire binding and little hearts!"
and I am thinking
(did I just buy something for LITTLE GIRLY GIRLS?????)
An artist doesn't have to live by the rules.
ReplyDeleteAt least, that is what you should tell yourself! LOL
It's distinctly possibly, but we like what we like, so why not enjoy it!
ReplyDeletefrankly? my pots are probably very girly girl :)
ReplyDeleteAloha Gary.

I'll say it, "Yes! You bought girly girl stuff." ;-)
ReplyDeleteI'm with kcinnova - an artist doesn't have to live by the rules!
ReplyDeleteYes. That is some pre-tween products you bought.
ReplyDeleteLMAO! Oh that picture is just somethin' else...
ReplyDeleteKASEY! That is a pug-a-lug notebook. You should go get one from Targendale. :)
ReplyDeleteThey're a little girl, Gary, but it's alright... who's making the rules anyhow?
Hey, I have bee-shaped notebooks in the car and van. Oh, wait. Bees are manly, dangerous, stinging LOLinsects.
ReplyDeleteNever mind.
LOL! Gary, you crack me up. I bought a wonder woman folder a few weeks back. And some bubbles. I'm sure the cashier thought I was going to a child's birthday party or somethin'.
ReplyDeleteKatherine would TOTALLY dig you!
ReplyDeleteOnly a man with self confidence such as yours would allow him self to indulge in his feminine side!
ReplyDeleteYou go for it Gary- if it's pink and makes you happy- who are we to judge????
What's a bit of pink wire and hearts when you have pink flamingos? ;)
