Buster and Penny love snow. People on hillsides all around us got tons of snow, we got just a little. Thankfully: a) my parka arrived last week, cause it is COLD b)the weather is due to warm up!
Some people think snow is a four letter word, but those first few flakes always used to bring a rush of excitement and fun. My dogs LOVE it when we spend time in the north during the winter.
I'm across Lake Ontario from you, and only got a mere dusting of the white stuff. Then it rained in the afternoon making everything and everybody miserable. The lake effect makes it a wee bit warmer than those who live in land-locked areas like Gary.
Penny was having as much fun as any beagle should be allowed! Wonderful to watch her and that busy nose or hers. Buster just kind of supervises, doesn't he?
What is that white stuff?? ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm envious! I can't wait until Jan for our honeymoon trip to N. Carolina - hoping for the chance to see snow! It looks so pretty.
ReplyDeleteIt's the end of the world, Tink.
ReplyDeleteWe didn't get much here. Just enough to frost the roof and assorted sheltered corners. I'm not complaining, though: Halloween in the snow truly bites.
everything is white here. the snow plow is going by right this second. pretty cool.
ReplyDeleteWe get snow every 15 years or so - sure would like some!
ReplyDeleteI'm Dreaming of a White Christmas!!
